Well, which site in Urbana would we be talking about if we weren't talking about the manufacturing site? As far as I know, there are only two sites in Urbana - the fabrication shop on Russell St, and the manufacturing site off of Route 55.

The groundwork for Urbana selling off their shipping and logistics areas was laid nearly 3 years ago. I'm actually surprised it didn't happen sooner, and that makes me both sad and mad.

So are the MN RIFs for ACS, Aero, or both? Direct labor or indirect labor for the ISC positions? I'm not surprised by reductions in marketing for either ACS or Aero, but it's still unfortunate.

Nothing in Urbana?? Have you been on vacation. There is a RIF scheduled for December. Probably one in January also. And they ARE selling parts of the company. You must of missed the meeting yesterday.

Yes it does. As i have been saying for months now, honeyhell's end game is to have ZERO US employees outside of the leadership roles. Their job will be to babysit the 3rd party contractors and make sure they are doing what theyre supposed to be doing. Here in Phoenix, they sold the parts inventory called ASRS to Keuhne-nagel along with the shipping and receiving. Same fate for plant 1015, Phoenix production. They also employ a lot of 3rd party mechanics.

If you labor on and off a job and your product isnt required to be built in the US, your job is going away and that is guaranteed, not hearsay. Just be ready for your RIF notice. Maybe not this time but with 2 planned RIFs RIGs in 2017, there is still plenty of opportunity.

This is the beginning of the end of HON as we know it. The plan is to employ as fee red badges as possible, sell all assets and revenue streams, then concentrate on software and licensing. You heard it here first.

Yesterday Honeywell announced in the Ohio plant that they were selling off the shipping area, and logistics. The bidding starts today, and none of the employees who have worked there for 30plus yrs are not aloud to bid back to the floor, what does this mean for them? Is this the beginning of the end for them in Urbana Ohio?
