Can anyone tell me if Bakersfeildd employees laid off in June 2016 have or will receive any fraction of their inventive bonuses? What was the typical severance package?

Not correct, 1wya. You need only be on the payroll through April 1 to get at least one quarter year of the Chevron bonus. If you are on the payroll after 1 quarter, you will receive a prorated bonus for the number of months you were on the payroll. That's the written policy, per HR.
1wya: you are incorrect.
That only applies to the Butthurt Loser deadwood Chevroids.
There is a requirement that the individual has to be on the payroll on the last day of the year in order to get success sharing that is distributed 1st quarter of the next year.
This applies to all the chevroids who were laid off, not just Bakersfielders.
Folks laid off in June already receives their 2015 bonus in March, 2016. They will also get about 1/2 of their 2016 bonus in March 2017. Only half due to fact that they only were on 2016 payroll for half the year. As far as how much, it is based on their pay grade. The higher the pay grade the bigger the bonus. For a pay grade 25, it was about 25% of their salary. The 2016 bonus may be smaller due to low oil price and low profit. Won't know until early 2017.
"Incentive" as a descriptive word for the Chevron annual bonus, is only a word used to "sell it" to the shareholders. Using only the single word "bonus" doesn't fly as well as "incentive bonus" to the eyes and ears of the Chevron shareholders.
What's an inventive bonus? Not much room for creativity at CVX. Ha ha ha - thump. That's me laughing my head off.
You are correct. A wife of 30 years.
OP: You wouldn't by chance be an x-wife looking for more money would you? Or perhaps just a troll.
