In all Customer and Product Support meetings, management is always talking about customer satisfaction. However, that cannot be accomplished with unhappy employees. Honeywell treats employees terrible and when you try to make an effort to help, they tell you to go find a job somewhere else. Employees are the most important asset of company, and it doesn't look like upper management in Honeywell is aware of that. Definitely they have NEVER taken a management class.

Basically they spent an hour of our time talking about reducing non-value-added work... And a few manufactured questions about RIFs (answer: we don't know yet), furloughs (answer: we don't know yet), work from home policy decision reasoning (answer: we have no metrics or factual reasons, but we BELIEVE REALLY HARD that it'll help with creativity and collaboration), and new vacation policy (answer: we don't expect you to take less vacation*).

*but we reserve the right to tell you not to take any...

Pretty standard time waste.

Any other site have employees respond to today's E&T town hall with open laughter? Pretty sorry state of affairs when management is regarded with such open derision.
