In light of new administration hunting down misuse of visa program and the offshoring behaviors. Add this trend in server market. Cloud winners will emerge from this tech downturn. I doubt it will be oracle of USAaybe oracle of India.

Oracle is hugely over staffed for a 40billion company in decline. I suspect cuts will occur on a quarterly basis from now on. It's not going to grow clod fast enough to recover in this tech downturn and with the eroding database market. Way to go MH!

Estimates had oracle cutting 20k! This will be a severe cut but 2017 will also bring cuts due to the severe downturn in enterprise IT spending. It's going to get worse before it gets better. If ever it gets better. Globalization has done one over on us.

Not sure what will happen but if you take a look at what happened over last six months this may be bloody: Intel cut 12K, HP cut 7K, Dell cut 5K, IBM is in a permanent quarterly cutting mode, NetApp cut about 15%, overall it's a massive cutting frenzy affecting the whole industry. Oracle is notoriously late when it comes to this...
