Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Oracle MS et al on notice Donald Trump doubles down on 35% tax for businesses that ship jobs out of U.S. Hope it covers offshore inshoring too

In a series of tweets Sunday morning, Trump pledged to lower corporate taxes across the board. But he also said he would charge a hefty 35% tax for "any business that leaves our country for another country, fires its employees, [or] builds a new factory or plant in the other country, and ... sell[s] its product back into the U.S."

Oracle even brings in managers with a Burger King attitude towards work from abroad to work here .. wtf.. can't get qualified managers locally Larry??

The tax would have to apply to services as well as products. "If you make it there and sell it here..."

Support for us clients that used to be done by US based employees now ( and in the future) done by Indians and Rumanians, easy to prove as 123 - oracle is f...ed!

This may really hurt oracle in the and may cause LE to react even more aggressively than planned with the near term RIF. Get it done before he's on the radar after Inauguration Day.
