At 4 pm central Sears released the following press release.
"Due to a systems issue, all Q3 information has been lost. All interested parties should move forward under the assumption the company has completed its transformation and returned to profitability. All vendors should rest assured they will receive full prompt payment for their goods and should immediately resume shipping merchandise to Sears."
The preceding information, while we believe is an accurate depiction of the company's viability, does not guarantee future results. Although we believe it is highly unlikely, there is a small chance there could be an extremely large risk in continuing to do business with the company.
