don't be an idiot....if you are sick stay home and work. Stop posting WFH is banned when you know that is not true, What is banned is everyone staying home and taking care of personal business instead of working. I'm sure it will go back to normal after the Jan. RIF. You will need to be in the office so they can tap you on the shoulder for RIF.

I have 2 co-workers with immune suppressed kids and a very pregnant coworker, all in close quarters. I feel terrible for them - you can see how much they love watching sick people invade their space with hacking and sneezing. Great (obvious) side effect we're seeing here.

WFH is not banned. All of ISC log Trade managers and directors STILL work from home for SPS & HBT.

Said at the E&T town hall meeting about the new remote working ban:

"There is a belief that by doing this we can continue to meet or exceed our expectations"

So apparently we didn't meet expectations before because ppl were working remotely. No facts or metrics .... only a "belief".

Brilliant ....

Garrette

Was much more impressive than HoneyHell has ever been. Always live life on your terms of the company will allow. If they treat you well then it's much easier to work for the MAN.

Sorry @uox. No can do. I have one of those clueless managers that 1.doesnt understand what any of us engineers do and 2. Because of that has extremely unrealistic expectations. If I have a fever I will take a sick but can't afford to take sick day for a bad cold. Again. All could be averted if I was allowed to work from home. Oh well, sorry again

Don't cry???? The old Garrett, Allied-Signal is no more. Taking the vacation away is the last thing to go.

No rodeo, no fishing tournament, no two raises a year plus a cost of living, no Christmas bonus, no huge Christmas party for the kids at ASU, no summer fling at the water parks, no dental, expensive medical, no vacation or at least reduced amount and no payout of employment is ended, no free vending machines when working holidays, I could go on and on but the kids will raise too much hell already. Oh, I am leaving and it's a great thing

I really hate infecting everyone around me but not sick enough to not work, just sneezing, coughing, spreading germs. If I was still WFH I wouldn't be infecting those around me, but then I never got sick when WFH so most likely I count it here anyway. Thanks idiot Honeywell management.
