Left the Q and moved North. Sure the interview is much harder but the compensation is worth it.
San Diego is for the rejects that couldn't cut it in the valley.
Qualcomm has figured this out and started cutting compensation back considerably. They know they don't need the best and brightest to package builds, integrate code and copy other peoples code just to apply a new coding standard.
Op seems you posted under a wrong company. Qcom does not have great bonuses or benefits. These are just average. If you think 10% bonus is exceptional please remember it is after almost 1.5 years. And the next bonus will be after 1 year. Qualcomm is becoming like freescale. Employees losing interest. All the bonuses go to bigger titles. When the hr told us our health benefits are good I felt like telling her to wake up and stop the bs. No other company in sd so Qcom milking us
