Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

And now for some good news.......At least the LR's seem to have dried up?! For now.

Not heard of any LR's in about a week now. It might be some sort of record? Or maybe I'm not listening attentively enough! Happy Holidays folks. Next year could be your year :-)

@ltt

Is there a tool where a manager/director can request an individual LR for an employee?

A limited restructuring does not impact a single employee. That would be called getting fired. LR's are the new politically correct term for work force reductions, which used to be called lay-offs.

LRs are happening just not in big enough numbers for the media to report next big LR Q3 then the tsunami in end of Q4 as usual.
