I was checking out the location for the new software center near Georgia Tech... Real estate for our new group of software engineers to live in is expensive. Traffic is awful. Work from home not an option now for our new knowledge workers. The building owner committed to $19M of refurb. It will be interesting how long this venture lasts...

They were probably planning on using a H1B workforce, so traffic, real estate, real wages, etc are of no concern to leadership.
They'll put em all in temp housing or residence inn like in Tempe. Cycle them through and send them back to India with their assignment. Been going on for 20 years in silicon valley
If it is near Ga Tech it is near the ghetto. Just sayin'.
