The VZW compliance org has decided to "transform" meaning all 120+ compliance employees are impacted. All employees must apply for their jobs and be willing to relocate to NJ or GA. The goal is to push out higher paid tenured workers and replace with outside candidates and younger lower paid personnel. Of course all jobs will not be filled. Some good people being let go and replaced with lower paid scabs. Compliance has been riffing people annually, so this is just the most recent of a long line of cuts. Stay clear of VZW, especially the Compliance organization. The new executive director's only contribution has been slashing employees and destroying careers.

Just check the job sites, you will see lots of VZW compliance jobs posted. Simple to verify.
Is this site all hot air ?! Twice I have asked for a solid reference to assertions and ... nothing. Ok.
Compliance team would be those dealing with federal data protection standards etc? Any solid reference to this reorganisation?
It is insightful to see the anymosity from Union workers toward non union wireless employees. What happened to One Verizon? I thought we were all on the same team? I don't had any bad feelings toward VZC or the union, so this really shocked me. It highlights how angry and hostile Vz employees are even toward their fellow workers. Oh and I feel bad for AOL and Yahoo people,they are going to get a rude awakening. VZ culture is the deepest pit of hell..buckle your seat belts!
It's a Horrible company to work for all around. Executives have no respect for employees, see them as just an expense, union workers hate all the non union workers, everyone is scared of losing their job....anytime an employee meeting is announced the ulcers flare up.

It's more about reducing costs than anything else, for big cost savings they should eliminate the executive director position. That's a position with no purpose other than micromanaging Directors. You would think Directors would be self Directed. For the Exec Director pay, you could hire 3 or more Analysts...people that actually do Compliance work.
I actually know some people on that team. Sure many good people are being impacted, but there's a lot of dead weight and this is indeed deliberate to get rid of them.
