I noticed Sears is yet to pay their 2016 real estate taxes on properties they own or lease in the county where I live. Historically, their taxes are paid towards the end of November or beginning of December. Nationwide they probably have around $100 million in property taxes due. It'll be interesting to see when, or if, they get paid.

I was further able to locate their payment history. Since 2003, they have always made this payment within 2 weeks of it's due date. Some times, the payment was on the due date.
Prior to 2003 it was paid much earlier in the calendar year.
I just checked the tax information on the sears nearest to me. They are currently unpaid and have until Jan 31st, 2017 to make a payment
