Correlation of world population with Total Carbon emissions: Judge for yourself. Note the slowing in the period 1920-1940. Also note the recent rapid increase in 1985-present...which correlates with the rise in modernization (transportation and infrastructure) in "emerging nations," i.e. China, India.

He stated in the hearing that climate may be affected but that assessing the impact is difficult. this is a far cry from "man is destroying the planet with CO2"
I think he is hedging, and I'm not sure I would want to play poker with him.
