Google is now offering its self drive platform to car manufactures. Google has clocked up millions of miles in testing. Intel has driven their solution round Folsom parking lot a few times. which would you choose?

Self driving cars are STUPID. Jeez, does no one have any common sense left in the boardrooms??
Intel will deliver the drone technology into automobile platforms - In other words, Cars as so yesterday and the real deal is flying-autos. Google is yesterday's technology.
Intel makes good ppt, and at least for now is still perceived as a competitive hardware leader after all their severs dominate, but not for long.
Nvidia, ARM and AMD when they move to 7nm while Intel is still stuck on 14nm all will be lost.
Hardware compute is being made a commodity by the foundry and their scale trumps Intel and leverages huge ARMy scale that Intel can't match.
Tipping point has past and Intel is done!
The huge risk from the first deaths is why Google separated its self driving program from the Google mother ship. I live in Mountain View where we see Google cars on the road. I have a friend who enjoys getting next to one and gradually drifting over toward it, The Google car will stop to avoid his car. I can't wait for this game to be more widespread, and for cities to get gridlocked from all those self driving circulating cars. Intel will get there just in time to get its deep pockets picked.
Which would I choose? That would depend on what Google's platform consists of. If it uses Intel technology then I wouldn't choose either. The same IoTG muppets who set up a few test cars in the parking lot are spending big money flying over to Google every week, and with the BS that comes out of their a***s may have even convinced Google to use Intel CPUs.
I think self driving cars are not going to make it. We all know computer and their limitations can a computer see the follwing? Tell me if I am wrong here:

All it will take is for a self driving car to kill a family - kids, mother, etc. Then - GAME OVER- Intel will be sued for billions-
Computers will NEVER replace the experienced driver behind the wheel.

Well. I would pick Intel's solution if they threw in a free car and you could disable the autonomous drive. .
It would be the same as Intel offering Fruit company its LTE modem to gain market share. Of course dot com companies already proven this business model fails.
