Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Honeywell is floundering and Leadership is hiding it from the market

There is so much internal hidden turmoil, all the good people are jumping ship, 5-6 resignations a week.

Recent contracts losses have created Chaos for business, so many resignations that Harriet Mountcastle-Walsh VP and General Counsel is personally interviewing each contracts resignation to try and understand how to stop the bleeding.

It is happening everywhere and thus Honeywell is hiring from the outside for hundreds of openings because no one internal is accepting any new jobs, leadership thinks we will soon not be able to meet contractual commitments.

Sad, it is definitely time to leave

So many people in Aero have quit that some functions might not cut all the people on their original RIF list. Guess it hurts after all.

100% true. It's sad. We're loosing talent left and right and furloughs are official for Jan 2017. At least one or 2 weeks depending on what business you are in.

I agree that Dealin' Dave with the Media Crave hates Aero, hates manufacturing (we're now a SOFTWARE co?!?), and it's clear he intends to eliminate all direct, non-mismanagement personnel. Allied Signal was always mainly a management company, and DC intends to convert anything else into management bonus. By the time he's out of the loop, most of what we know as Honeywell will be gone.

He's just following (well, leading really) the new American business model - bleed the Well dry today; we've got the rest of the world to harvest tomorrow.

Does anyone think Trump will turn the ship around?

I started with Allied Signal. Times were great back then. The lack of loyalty and compassion that theven present leadershit team has shown is apahauling. Most of the supervision is grossly unqualified to lead anyone. Lol, they can even manage their direct reports vacation schedule. There is one idiot that is refusing to let his technicians and mechanics use their vacation. They did earn it and it is a company benifit.

Yes. You can almost hear the desperation in the ALTs' voices. So sad. I echo the sentiment of my peers; the resentment and lack of caring or motivation is the worst I've ever seen.

The engine has ran out of oil and is failing, But leadership keeps their foot dead planted to floor. Soon the machine will stop functioning completely.

That's why I sold my HON stock. I don't want to be holding it when they figure it out.

It's all about perceptions. Leadership'skills still asleep, BMW has been toldone number of times what's is going wrong and continue to ignore the facts. One or two resignations every once in a while is okay, but 5 or 6 or even more a month, ones would question what's happening? But nooooooo.

Heaven forbid they can break Harriet away from begging, I mean campaigning, for Honeywell PAC donations long enough to do some "legal" work. LMAO

MM was the one who reached into Harriet MC Walsh's org not so long ago and chopped heads. They seem to bring him in to stir S up. Cote hates Aero, and loathes ISC even more. MM stays, We're so fuqt, sheet outta luck. Strap on the ball gags

With all of this happening, one has to wonder why the investment community doesn't question the Honeywell leadership(?) about this.

The undercurrent of resentment is bigger than they realize, they've only seen the tip of the iceberg. How they didn't see this coming is the big mystery.
