I can't believe some of these guys on here talking about losing there house...really the jobs are booming just not oil right now get off your a-- and go get a job .if they cut 20 % I would be gone lol I did leave had a job the next day paying twice as much..cause of my letter to corporate is why you now have your ot back and no furloughs your welcome..it would be smart to get out while you can

You have to go with the flow sometimes. I was once with HAL and learned that keeping a job and being a good employee during these times is what's best for me and my guys.

It's so nice to work for a company that will now pay minimum wage for skilled jobs instead of just above minimum wage.

For me 20% reduction in pay is no problem, I just take 20% longer lunches and work (output) 20% less.

At our location, the furlough was lifted and the employees got their pay back, but not 401k contributions. Are there still locations under furlough? I thought the lift was company wide. If the company does cut pay, does that void relocation pay-back commitments? As for "being grateful for a job". I'm employable elsewhere and suggest taking out some student loans and gaining a skill set that can transfer to other industries. You can't expect people who can get another job to stick with one that pays them less than their market value.

I am also one of those that worked at WTF for sixteen years and got laid off last year! You should be thankful 20 percent is better than nothing at all! Thank God that hateful woman did not get elected into the White House are we would all be doomed!!

Mgt paycuts will be made up with a bonus so no paycut. Hourly people will get their hours reduced so they don't qualify for benefits. This outfit SCREWS everybody... Vendors customers and employees. Co rolls over like a dead dog in january

No a--kisser here buddy. I was one that got laid off over a year ago. Still can't get a job bc I'm not asian nor need a h1b1 visa. And about to loose my house. I would rather a pay cut than living in a ditch. So while u complain think of me about to be on the street.

It's better than being laid off and have nothing! Stop complaining and be thankful you still have your job.

I highly doubt this is true. But if by chance it is, probably wont be the same groups who recently took cuts/furlough.

Now you know why Weatherford is a global leader. We are gifted with so much mathematical talent.

look on the bright side.

each 20% cut is less actual money.

So 100K to 80k, you lose 20K

But 80K to 64K, you only lose 16K
