against a company that pays for the work of one employee and asks for the work of 5 employees? There is a lawsuit against pricing deception....what about employment deception?

All you can do is find another job where they don't work their associates to death. Or if they ask for extra hours they show some appreciation. If the law allows it how can you sue?
Everyone in the retail industry knows this is a terrible company to work for. That is why no one wants to work for this company. Low wages. Overworked associates. Declining stores. Outrageous insurance. You can't afford to work for Sears or Kmart unless you are desperate.
