When will Atlas Shrug?

While glancing at the SHLD stock price this morning a picture emerged in my mind. We know Eddie loves the book Atlas Shrugged. I pictured Eddie as Atlas, the giant who holds the world upon his shoulders. Only SHLD was the world. It was a struggle between SHLD and Eddie. SHLD just wants to collapse and Eddie was sweating and grunting and turning red as he was pushing the heavy SHLD upward and both forces were struggling against each other. First it looked like SHLD was going to win stock drops to $10.12 then Eddie, with muscles shaking pushes up and it climbs to $10.32, then SHLD pushes downward and it drops to $10.22....and so on and so forth.

Eddie WILL eventually shrug and the whole darn thing will crash down. One side yells, "PUSH EDDIE, PUSH," while the weary laden Sears slumps heavier and heavier. The only question...

When will Eddie shrug?

Broke the barrier. Stock now $9.88 a share, I think this is a record low. Stock is sliding. Some say if it hits $9.38 a share it is game over.

they are crap stores. Eddie would be lucky they took them so he does not need to clean up the asbestus

I had read that Eddie needs to keep the SHLD share price above $9.36. A company backing the pension says Sears must keep a 1 billion market cap. At $9.36 they drop under the 1 billion mark and the company would be entitled to the real estate that was put up as collateral. Should that happen, it would be game over for Sears, ie, Eddie.

Eddie needs to keep the stock price above $9.36 until is REIT is safe. Some people say until June of 2017. That's why when I saw the stock head towards the $10 range I was visualizing Eddie PROPPING up SHLD when all it wanted to do was sink. Eddie will fight to keep the price above $9.36 until it doesn't matter anymore. In which case he will simply shrug and let it collapse while he skips away with the REIT.

No, it's more like, Eddie is Atlas, the world is Sears and Atlas has the world upon his shoulders. Then he takes the world and shakes it and shakes like a piggy-bank until all the money has come out, the people are ruined and the whole thing is a jumbled mess. Then he takes the world and throws it away and walks off into the sunset. Mission Accomplished

I think eddie f'd up. So who is the counterparty who is buying SHLD? You can try to sell all you want but who is buying? Bruce Jewovitch? Nice job. It will go worthless. Seritage is the key to eddie's plan. I think it might have spun out of control but what do I know?
