Blackberry transforms into a autonomous driving company

This is the type of creative destruction needed at Intel. Thoughts?

@KVDtO6V-tkp. "Lol...So let me get this straight... Blackberry, once a innovative smartphone maker, but let it's edge wither away, is now going to invest in something it knows nothing about, autonomous driving?

Lol"

Yup intel has failed at everything but x86 and was only successful because it had only one weak competitor and they had a major fumble, but even they showed up intel with inferior prices for many years.

Intel is really a clumsy retarded giant with a bozo at the top!

Oh, and the less to learn also is ....As a geek stop spending so much time thinking you're going to invent the next hit, or hit the next stock option jackpot. Take some of your money you earned doing pretty well as a normal engineer and put it to use elsewhere so that it works for you. Because your days are numbered in as much as a lot of tech companies are too.

Autonomous driving is the fad like IOT was 2-3 years ago. And the profit stream for IOT is......?? And the profit stream for autonomous driving is?????????

All blackberry did was defer the inevitable for a tech company that failed to innovate what it knew best, and let it's lead vaporize among competitions...

What is the likelihood that the same smash hit one tech company has...can make another smash it??? Odds are like lightening striking the same place twice.

That's exactly why intel keeps failing. It was successful with x86. And it thinks it's smart enough to reinvent itself and be the next successful company all by developing everything in house. So far, the track record is pathetic...

That's why companies like Oracle and Broadcom and Symantec have stopped trying to grow by building from ground up, investing a lot of money in their own R&D engineering....They are successful in their business by growing via mergers and acquisitions, because they know the next leg of innovation is most likely going to happen elsewhere... It's the same thing that Qualcomm is figured out, and why they bought NXP...

Intel should change it's marketing slogan... "Innovation Outside"

Blackberry is the future of intel! A company once dominate but arrogance, stuberness and utter stupidity resulting in collapse to nothing!

Canada had their pride company become nothing.

US has a many iconic tech companies so losing intel the way of Kodak, Poloroid, DEC, etc won't be a loss but for the poor souls still stuck on the Titanic

For those in TMG, how is 14nm, 10nm and 7 mm doing? You have factories of scale and efficiency to compete against TSMC, Samsung and china and the Chinese?

X86 days are over and the ARMy has over run all your protected gardens. No amount of products coming can save the Titanici! More ACTs a coming, you got your lifeboat ready?
