Folks:
I was offered and took VSP in April and left first of May in 2016.
I do need to tell you that in the 7 months since that time, my health has greatly improved. I lost 5 pounds. No more insomnia, rashes gone from my skin, no more jock itch, the major wart on the back of my neck is greatly reduced in size. eyesight getting better. I was told that I look younger and healthier.
The biggest change is that I no longer have the 'crud' or 'runs'.
This leads me to wonder if the air in our facilities (I was in JF3 in Oregon) is not healthy. The JF3 building, like most Oregon buildings, is sealed (non-openable windows). Are we not having enough ventilation? Or is it simply a matter of not having any daylight in our workspaces (cubicles out of sight of the building's windows).
I don't think it's the cafe food as I always opt for the fresh fruit and/or salads, so I cannot lay blame to BonAppitit in the cafes.
I was not in a section that was remodled to the new half cubes, so I cannot blame new carpeting or out-gassing.
I also never worked in / near the fabs, so I cannot blame it on the chemicals they use there.
So, all in all, it appears to me that the VSP gave me a shot of good health by escaping me from the physical office environment of the buildings.
