Rumor has it if you write a sincere, heartfelt letter of contrition to Intel HR, explaining how you now see the error of your ways, that you didn't give your 110% while you were working there, both in attitude and effort, and that you now see that you grossly over-valued your marketability and compensation value in this competitive public tech sector, you just might be able to get back in 2 grades below your last job at Intel, for 40% of the salary and some justly scaled down benefits directional proportionate to and entirely appropriate for your re-calibration.

Rumor has it Intel will be out of business in 10nm. But it is just a rumour.
