MIP payable in March is based on 2016 performance. And isn't necessarily based on 2017 outlook and early performance, although I recall that weasel words exist that would allow reduction or elimination. MIP was paid in 2016 for 2015.

Do you really think Honeywell will have a MIP in 2017??? Think about it, Honeywell will have a furlough every other Friday.....that has been the rumor! So why do you think that in 2017 anyone except upper leadership will be getting a bonus.
