I wonder if Intel reps are the same muppets who were behind the Automotive Security Review Board "initiative" started in summer 2015. Where's that now? Nowhere. Rest assured if they are then this new "initiative" will go the same way. There'll be lots of power points and lots of BS flying around from the muppets with big mouthpieces and nothing to back it up. Time will tell.
Another one bites the dust.
😁😂😃😃😁
If Intel had a dollar for every re-org and new business group created, the stock would be back up at $72/share.
Autonomous cars are boring! Regression in human interest.
Quote: Microsoft reportedly is partnering with carmakers to get its operating systems into their autonomous vehicles.
Really, you are driving down the highway at 65MPH and you lose GPS signal and Microsoft says I need to reboot, and then what...yes...you all die. Microsoft is good for business and home and that is IT. No Microsoft products should be used for anything mission critical. You want good solid performance, go to linux based, or android.
Agree. Autonomous car is a big bubble.
Most people will not want autonomous cars. They will be tuned to go max just a couple miles per hour over speed limit. This will not suffice. Besides they will also take the fun out of driving. Market will be mainly for old folks and disabled.
