I also sold all of my Chevron stock at 133.88/share and loaded up on Shell stock at 43-45/share.

Who cares about who is the closest to guessing the price of oil at year end? A prediction if that kind is no more than a guess. Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
Correction: 30th will have to do if trading is closed on 31st, not sure on trading hours.
