So I'm ready to leave the company that was so good to me and my family over the years. I've saved, planned, done all the divisions under the Honeywell banner a good job. They want to lay off younger talented people so I said why not save a job and volunteer? Yes I'm very busy and have lots to do
In 2017 but I thought it time to get out.
I applied wondering if my manager would allow me to leave and stop the suffering. I got my answer, denied! So now I'll continue to try the best I can to do a good job with those left across the org. It's limited talent and limited desire to continue on.
I will apply next time no matter the 13 was or 26 but at some point it has diminishing returns.
I will be watching who gets RIF'd In a week or two. I'm sure there are many others ready to go but Hon will not give them the 26 weeks hoping we leave anyway thus saving them the severance.
