Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Wait, 10 million PLUS a 30% lifetime discount?

you mean to tell me 4 million plus a year in total compensation over the past 10 years and 10 million more in severance and it still isn't enough for him to pay full price for his freakin groceries and beer? Seriously? While the $12 an hour employee has to shop at Aldi and can't even afford to patronize his or her own company??? Really???

I wouldn't be surprised if HQ had their own policy. If I didn't have a chronic disease and I made that much money, I wouldn't even have insurance.

Wonder if he has our sh--ty insurance for the next 3 years? Not like a 9k deductible couldn't be covered by that 10 mil, but as someone working for the hole over 7 years I can't afford that...

kind of makes you want to request pay for all the time you worked off the clock.

Let's not forget, this CEO racked up 338 days (over 2700 PTO hours) at the end of 2015. My question is that if he was working so hard (no time for vacation), why is the company in shambles. This company lost close to 40 percent of its value. Moreover, in whose dime was he playing Golf? Offcourse, it has to be the company dime and time. You better not try this as you will be out of a job in no time.

Okay 10 million for a REMARKABLY, SPECTACULARLY, CRINGINGLY poor performance, yes that's annoying, but the discount bothers me more. A lifetime discount for a regular TM starts at 40,000 service hours (20 yrs roughly) and is only 20%. This dude's just rubbing it in our faces.
