10% paycut, furloughs every qtr. Means one thing. A company that does it has no idea how to run the company. Do a massive reorganization and be done with it. Move people around to where they are needed. Otherwise you just show employees you don't know what areas are important in the company or where you are going.

And each reduction in earnings resulting from the furloughs negatively impacts your social security benefit which is based on an average of your earnings....
Heard they have talked about this one, but are shying away from this option as they fear a mass exodus will occur. They will continue with the furloughs into next year. At about 2% for each week of furlough, they can accomplish the dollar % amount they target this way instead.
