Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Has any Intel manager been fired for losing ODI?

I got the courage to file an ODI case against my manager after transferring into another Intel dept. HR/investigator ruled in my favor, but my former manager is still at Intel. I later learned he had other ODI cases ruled against him. In spite of this, he has survived last 2 ISPs. WTF?!

I was told an ODI filed against FL manager at Intel Penang. Besides all of the evidences provided by employee, legal still ruled in favor of the company. Never count on Intel legal.

As a front line manager, I can tell you that it is definitely not good to be an Intel manager anymore, unless you are an emotionless automaton. Most of us aren't though.

winning an ODI means that they have determined that they can not fire you without it looking like retaliation. lucky you

no!!! ODI is to protect the company and try to settle the dust in your side.

Never, but never, an Intel's legal investigator will work for you... the investigator will try to avoid any liability against the company he works for.

I had a very bad experience with ODI.

As far as I know, losing an ODI case does not get recorded in a manager's Focal report nor used against him in SSL grants. It's good to be an Intel manager!

As far as I can tell, it is not... What goes around comes around! ;-)

HR is here to defend the company (represented by the managers), not to defend the employees (by @Kbj8yEr-mkv).
