Severance Benefits.

  • (a) Severance Benefits. The Severance Benefit payable to an Eligible Employee who has satisfied the requirements of Sections 3 and 4 (including without limitation, Section 3(b)) of the Plan shall be the lesser of the following:

-- (i) one week of Pay for each full year of Service, plus a pro rata portion of one week’s Pay for any partial year of Service (any fractional portion to be rounded up to the next full day), but in no event less than four (4) weeks of Pay; or

--(ii) twenty-six (26) weeks of Pay.

9 months, they must have had pics of Cote in a field with a sheep.

This isn't the norm at engines or Aero

Hearing the 26 wks goes to 13 in Jan.

Lots of changes coming but where's the memo?

Yes, currently is is a 26 week max and has been for several years. The discussion on this site is about this possibly being reduced and changing to 13 week max sometime in the future - I thought I saw one poster state he had it on good authority this would happen in early 2017. If that is true someone who would get 26 weeks severance pay would then only get 13 weeks.
