"Good" who would go to Malta let alone the business roadmap there is tenuous at best. But of course the last two years at Intel we have moved to the tipping point and as of the past nine months most definitely past the tipping point so a listing ship versus a capsized one going under is good, rats are abandoning ship 🐁
Global Foundries has been plucking good people out of Intel since at least 2008.
Intel was full of liberals in both CA and OR so I suspect both campuses will be somber today.

They're stupid if they can't see their careers are non-existent. Most of the mgmt can easily be fired with no loss of revenue, just a net gain from pulling back the capital expended on these losers.
I am advertising this for 6 months, as I ad genesis to this board. If they get rid of 90% of useless Front Line Managers, and 50% of SLMs, in other words Dead Wood, they'll save around 10K positions x $300K USD per annum in average. In total $3 Billion USD!!!

I work 7 days a week and am on call at night. I have a 7 days a week TF I need to physically be at or risk L4. This has been going on for years with no end in sight. For that I get average pay, little above average stock and benefits with little chance this can continue. All so someone else can have glory. I am living the dream!
