On April 24th, 2014 four Baker Hughes' employees were involved in a lethal car accident in Port Gentil, Gabon, Africa.

The accident was work related... they were coming back from the office after a long day of work.

Upon that tragic night, Clarice lost her life and her baby could not be saved, she was 8 months pregnant.

Andy sustained serious brain injuries. They airlifted him to South Africa to one of the best hospital in the country: Milpark Hospital. Andy came out of the coma. Everyone was very optimistic.

However and unfortunately, two months after, they decided to assign him to two cheaper facilities in Johannesburg which were not equipped to handle heavily injured patients like him.

For a period of 16 months Andy did not received the treatment his condition demanded. He was declining everyday a bit more.

After many actions we managed to get him transferred a to a new hospital which improved dramatically his condition.

But we cannot stop there!

What Andy needs now is to recover fully by being placed into a good facility with the latest technologies, best physicians in the world to give him all the chances to get back to a normal life.

Andy's family has secured an invitation and a registration at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida which appear to be a great hospital to rehabilitate patient like Andy.

The Jackson Memorial Hospital is waiting for Andy.

Please sign this petition to support the family's request to transfer Andy immediately to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The petition will go to Baker Hughes Executive team.

What... Everyone knows that AMERICAN healthcare is horrible compared to the rest of what is offered in the world... Just ask any progressive liberal, even with obama care, AMERICA has very deficient care.... According to the leftist liberals in the USA and the world, this needful man would be better off and better served in caring Canada or efficient Europe...

Exactely the point.. BH has and is flexible to some choosen employees especially regarding insurances.. so.. WE should also do it for this engineer. Nonsense. Policies of favouritism.. that is the problem WE have.

Stop the b---s---! Baker Hughes do not treat all of its employees equally! We all know that ! so Stop the b---s---ting! If Andy was white he would already be home with his family healed and happy.

Give African workers the same rights than the others give them same protection and same cover with access to real hospitals. Apart from this when Bh wants Bh can and has done many times many exceptions. We would appreciate you to just shut up. Thank you.

Sadly Baker Hughes cannot do anything beyond the insurance program administered to every employee of Baker Hughes.

If we do something special for one employee we would be forced to do for every employee and their families . Try to work with outreach groups .
