lol keep dreaming, more and more jobs will move out of AMER and EMEA, all going to JAPAC as labor is cheap, experience Oracle doesn't care. Green statistics flag is all they think about and JAPAC is very good in faking these flags.
All the jobs that got cancelled in EMEA last week are already up in India and Romania.
Trump has flip flopped on h1b and his last opinion was he is pro h1b. He also has support of Rubio and Cruz who want to more than double h1b quota. I hope Trump remembers that zuckerburg opposed him and doesn't fall into his pockets.

Normally I would say yes but half the worlds population is in Asia where emerging markets exist as do the low wage highly capable tech labor.

I would expect the opposite. An obvious way to bring these jobs back to the US is to create an import tariff on 'intellectual' products. The idea is, if a product or service is created overseas, then sold and used inside the US, that is an importation. We apply tariffs to all sorts of other imported products, especially in the agricultural sector, in order to prodect local producers. There is no reason such a scheme should not apply to software, consulting, or phone support.
This would completely change the numbers by which Ms Catz makes her decisions.
Because Oracle needs to reduce costs or no competing on price with Microsoft and amazon. The decline for Oracle will happen fast if they don't act.
