Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Pressure is building up on INTEL by TSMC. I welcome you, INTEL FLMs, SLMs, VPs, to the volatile Game Of (nano-meters) Thrones!

_Intel has built a phenomenal portfolio of technologies to support its excellent processors in the data center. However, there is a risk to this business looming on the horizon that the company needs to be ready to respond to with a relatively early launch of server processors built on its 10-nanometer technology.

The competition is moving to foundry 7-nanometer tech

Intel's main rival in logic chip manufacturing is Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (NYSE:TSM). TSMC's executives have been very vocal about how makers of "high-performance computing" chips are adopting its upcoming 7-nanometer technology._

Hello, INTEL, I salute you all: especially FLMs, SLMs, VPs, to the volatile Game Of (nano-meters) Thrones!

Be my guests, make my day! ;-)

IBM with their mainframes and minicomputer profits funded silicon excellence and leadership for a few decades but they pissed their huge lead and opportunities away. They had huge layoffs and in the end a internal CEO got the boot as he could fathom a fix.

Jump forward two decades and the same script happened again! Intel going for high end and high margin severs as survival but that is a repeat of IBM. IBM was far bigger and richer and had huge software and services profits and still lost the lead in silicon and gave away the fabs.

Intel has no software revenue or service so the fall to the ARMy will be swift, not two decades in the making but more like two process generations, tipping point has been past, BK is finished!

7days and twice a day is futile as the race has been lost, ask those in the know 😉

Pressure building, a wild horse race, not even!

For a decade Intel led, this year TSMC pulls even and next year pass BK and his clowns by.

Next year will go down in history as CEO and others will be remembered for bungling it!
