Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Victim of unfair practices

I just happened to stumble across this website, and to my shock, I still see layoffs happening. This is really sad. Cijoey Thomas and Mark Tift were my bosses, and they laid me off in the same pattern as many of the other people in the the company. I'm glad I was fired sooner (2013) because I've heard bad things about the place, regarding the hire and fire policies, non development of talent, booting out experienced personnel, no investment in their own people, and lack of trust in leadership.

I can't imagine waking up to thinking about "Do I have a job today or not" kind of a routine where my only thought would be self preservation rather than doing something meaningful and worthwhile for the better of the organization.

It's a shame, really. Things have only changed for the worse.

Very true. Sabre with such a long history than companies like Apple, Google and alike still struggling with their revenues due to bad leaders [Worldwide], who get promoted due to their political skills rather than IT related skills. Sabre should start firing such leaders with more than 10 years experience as their contribution is terribly bad otherwise the company would have been profitable.
