I'm not sure even FANG is safe under Trump.

Good article and true. LE is selling a lot of hope to shareholders. The gullible ones will stay but not everyone is convinced. Certainly not the shareholders that are suing over cooked up cloud numbers.

The hardware Oracle is selling is not going to allow it to be very price competitive. They will realize that in a year or two that it is not the right strategy. It might be too late by then to turn the titanic around. It's headed right for the iceberg - call Amazon and Jeff Bezos. Pretty sure that Oracle will also start losing its lead on software.

Sorry guys its going to s--- to be part of the cult of LE.

I don't think it's good for anyone working in IT. Not just Oracle, other tech companies are feeling it too. Their employees are just as worried as us Oracle (not talking FANG...facebook, amazon, netflix or google). All the legacy companies are in a whole big mess as they have to show growth and at the same time being profitable. They just cannot compete with newer, more agile companies that are giving away free stuffs hoping to capture market share. We all should feel blessed that we have something to do and get paid everyday.
