Intel spends plenty of money on consultants. Bain practically runs the company. You need people who know what they're doing to actually make use of them (and when to tell them to get lost). That's lacking.

What's amazing is the lack of business acumen at the highest levels in Intel.

At least hire some outside consultants before embarking on these go-to-market strategies. It's like there's a four year old running the place.
