I was at a supervisor 101 class and the HR manager "here in Canada" was asked about managers and company policy and law enforcement of rules here broken by the manager , hmmm. His reply was well! It depends on "who" he is and how long he's been here!!!!

Folks, nothing is against the law for this company. Any long serving employee and customer should know that. Compliance is the worst anywhere NOV does business and it's the top men and women who turn a blind eye to it all. Don't bother, nothing will change anytime soon.
It's amuck at Houston Corporate and their the ones who still have jobs. If your sleeping with or are family to upper management you are not touchable.

NOV Orange, where inbreeding runs deep. 90% of the people I worked for or with were all somehow related, either by blood or marriage. My supervisor...we'll just call him Mr. V, was tied to so many people there, it would make your head spin. My friends would often call NOV "the biggest little company," and it was true. Nepotism was the single greatest reason for my resentment towards my managers and supervisors. Still I stuck with it for ten years...why? I do not know.
Not knowing, but I would assume it would be from east India and the Ukraine.
