I am wondering if lay-offs are happening at my local Whole Foods (Santa Barbara). Clerks that were once friendly now seem to all have just returned from a funeral. Today I was almost run over by a speeding produce cart. I've worked in grocery stores, know how difficult it can be. I wish them all well, but shopping there has become depressing.

We're severely understaffed and doing the jobs of three or four people on average, with awful schedules, and some guests really don't make it easy. They yell at us all the time for things we cannot control. That's part of why we look so exhausted and upset all the time. It's draining.
Then f--- off don't shop there...We just want to go through the day....You entitled m------f----s....Take your jam, shove it up your ass

Serving the entitled WFM population is more difficult than working in conventional grocery stores. We can only kiss so much a--. Thanks.
Well when you treat employees like crap and run them ragged, then it shows to customers....better get used to the New Whole Foods aka Wal*Foods. lol
Wow. I guess that should squash your wondering. If so miserable-quit
its the holidays and theres no more incentive to give good customer service. No one cares about your jam we carried 3 months ago. F--- off. Let us do our job so our day goes by fast and we can get back to our families.
