Going thru this layoff is stressful! A coach said they layoff if you have illness and costing the company money! That falls under discrimination!!!
I was laid off during the very first round and let me just say I am ok and you will be too. Wait to get your severance, polish your resume, be on the look out for job postings, network and most impossible STAY POSITIVE!!! You will make it! Severance plus another paycheck from a fresh new company will be a blessing!

Today as submitted by another Humana at Home manager leadership was told via conference call they are all being let go....looks like doesn’t matter if you are a top performer because if membership is low in your area you are gone. This is the most impersonal layoff ever...terrible delivery after the company just dropped thousands on a huge meetings, flying all the leadership from all states to expensive hotels and providing food/drinks...could have saved half the salaries of those let go by cancelling the meetings. Very disappointed after being a top performer for this company for at least 5 years!
This is the worst company I have ever worked for. They let a lot of talented nurses and social workers go today and more tomorrow. Management speaks out of both sides of their mouth. LH and DM are the worst leaders ever. They mismanage LTIH funds and then layoff dozens of hard-working folks, but keep their "friends" around. If you still have a job, start looking, HAH LTIH is a sinking ship. There will be more rounds of layoff coming in 2018. Care Management won't be around for long.
HCM'S now told to do "monitored status" and "move people on". Lets see, we are to move people on rosters to monitored if "meet criteria" that HUMANA set, move them to some PHC and yet there is no replenishing of our rosters. HMMMM you think CUTS right before holidays for HCM'S in true HUMANA FASHION......seems fishy to me....
Called a bunch of people to meet with lawyers about unpaid over time. I think Humana got some surprises! Looks like there are coaches telling people to work off the clock. I am sure no one here is surprised.

Today March 1, 2017 we had a meeting where the threats was the main dish; They threaten us with immediate dismissal if we do not comply with the numbers, they/Humana are going to fire us and we will lose the layoff benefits packet. I am so overwhelmed, sad, sleepless and depressed.. :(
There are rumors that an associate committed suicide due the financial distress of Humana lay off. I don't know if it true :(
I resigned my position as a HCM , unable to give a 2 week notice !
This is the only position I have had where perfection is expected 100% of the time. Every min of our day is recorded. There is no room for the members needs to guide the calls. Our calls are expected to be so robotic - ask for member by first and lady name, say disclaimer, do a survey, give number at end of call. In theory this call structure is an ok idea. However, there has to be room to personalize each call. It feels impersonal to ask for a member that you have been managing for four plus years by first and last name, particularly if you are making a follow up call and just spoke to them the prior day. After four years my members have my contact information - it does not make good sense to repeat it at the end of each call just for the sake of checking a box. It is these types of issues that causes members to UTC and disengage in the program. No one is capable of perfection. I will continue to do what makes most sense to meet my members where they are and help them. Well as long as I have a job.
When you resign - do they deserve a 2 week notice? You know the answer to that. Stipulation if you don't give 2 weeks notice 'we are ineligible to work there again'

At this point the HAH department is a sinking ship - get out now before you are pushed out. I doubt this program can be sustained without the merger as well as changes made to the industry as a whole since the Trump administration took office.
In the case of the earlier layoffs the email did not come from MF. I don't think he would have the anatomy to tell 500 people their positions had been eliminated.
Based on that email yesterday the VP he stated there would be more layoffs in so many words, at least that is how I interpreted it.
My friend works in LTIH she wasn't in on a mtg today maybe it was for certain ppl she is a FCM

I spoke to a leader that was laid off and she informed me more lay offs are planned for April. Layoffs will be based on metrics and how many additional resignations there are due to first round layoffs

Everything is speculation at this point in the HAH department because there are no direct answers from leadership. When the direct question "will there be additional layoffs" was ask, the answer was department heads talking in circles. Everyone who is still employed is fearful and uncertain. The pressure to have perfect calls, achieve high metrics every day regardless of system issues, meets etc is insurmountable.

Can I ask what your role is? I haven't had an invite yet but can't say I'm not expecting one.
If your meeting is with MF, I would guess you are safe. He doesn't have the courage to face people and lay them off. My guess is he is going to try and tell everyone to work harder and that you can rest assured the failures in charge will get you through this hard time.
