For those that were released in early October 2016 as part of the Retail Layoffs... did anyone get your severance payment yet?
im still waiting and vz benifits dept cant help as they say they cannot see wireless employees info.
also was it direct deposit or paper mail check?

That is a good reminder. Turn in your equipment to your manager or the highest ranking manager at your site if there is no HR and get something written to prove you did it. Don't just leave it on your desk and hope it gets counted.
RIFed 10/4/16, last day on payroll 11/4/16, all of us out here received our severance the day before Thanksgiving.
My exit paperwork wasn't approved until I returned my best device . I made sure the asm called hr to make sure my paperwork was good. It was magically approved once I turned in my best device. Then 4 weeks later direct deposit payment.
I'm still waiting too. I faxed my info about ten days after my last day. How early did everyone fax their severance?
I'm waiting still and my insurance was accidentally dropped and they promised me new cards. Wanna bet the deductible starts over as well
