This is really devastating news, if true, for Intel. Best case YoY on the tick-tock model gains in efficiency is 3-4% (not anywhere near Qualcomm reported 40%) and with a performance gain of 5-7% (Qualcomm reported 27%). These numbers represent a death cross for Intel. Really, in all honesty, this should not be ignored.

I am sure iPhone8 running on TSMC 10nm is no slouch as is the Mediatek processor on 10nm!
Hey intel has tried and true 14nm this and next year with Kaby and Coffee. Seems like only intel is stuck on 14nm.
