Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

i hope wfm finds a way to countersue... i hate wfm, but i hate these thieving douchebags even more. stealing from the already lowest paid people in society... they deserve the worst.

1uja - just several times? we spend entire summers cutting hours and burning through pto to make labor. i end up with just enough to cover sick days. maybe 5 days vacation once a year if i take the pay cut and don't top off hours with pto.

WFM is not gonna bite on this one... The steps they have taken so far have shown us that whole foods intends to fight this "lawsuit" which these disgraceful STL's are using as a shield and cloak to lie to the ones closest to them. A thief doesn't want to have a reputation of a thief! The best thing these STL's an do is go get jobs and McDonald's and slowly blow away from all this nonsense.

This makes me sick. They ripped us off and get caught and now they are trying to sue. Let's face it. You f'd up and lost your job. Don't try and make a quick buck now out of your screw up.

I was a tl in the north east and after threats from my gm over labor dollars, stopped punching in entirely...take your f---n money b--ches...that's how hard they f---ed my head up...after three days they caught on and wrote me up....what's not understood is how hard they f--- people's heads up..I'm older now and will tell folks to f--- themselves really quick...it's the upside/downside of old age... but back then I was young and couldn't see straight...and felt I would be fired if I could not solve my labor issue...and it was just around this time of year when sales are soft after xmas...I would do anything to hold my job, with a wife and kids...you guys know tls at wfm are often very young...wfm will say we want fresh young faces that are uncorrupted and forward thinking....truth is they want a 12th SS...a hitler youth that they can burn out and throw on the pyre easily ...quick-n-done...with out any moral resistance ...with out any...."hey this is wrong"

I myself as a team leader because I was forced to do so had to cut my hours several times on many occasions To make labor. And yes I had to even use my PTO hours.

These 9 -STL's have filed for $25million each! What about the thousands of hardworking TM's that have been duped over the years? They need to payback every TM at the least $1 million each!

this happens frequently in the NE, the chain of command pressures TLs and ATLs into making labor at any cost. alot of the time the simplest thing is to cut TLS/ATLs own hours. i have seen TMS burn through PTO just to make 40hours a week to keep regional happy by staying in the green.

Oh ya...the pressure comes from Vice Presidents...I've seen that...don't know who exactly pressures the Vp's but Vice Presidents in the north east threaten gms who then threaten tls ...wfm is flat out f---ed on this one...they know how totally out of bounds they operate from an ethical standpoint...finally the hammers coming down!!!! Never thought it would be low life gms that give wfm the coup de gras but so be it...oh happy day! Merry Christmas!

Get creative, do whatever it takes, ask forgiveness later, no excuses for missing labor..and other motivational coachings coming from regional
