With LE getting closer to kicking the bucket and SC & MH focused on their short-term cash comp (they don't own any oracle stock), the game is short term profits and to hell with the long term. That means RIFs, RIFs and more RIFs across the globe. That's the way it is, get used to it and get out while you can.

Concerning about how much $$$ has LE prepared for this RIF, 1B?
you are a clueless idiot !
propagenda again. It is not about trading stock, it is about people.
Maybe you sould stop monitoring your stock options and start thinking about people.
You know, those are the person you maybe meet from time to time at work.
you are pathetic ...
Which areas are growing?
-1dnv is a PR Monkey doing what they get paid to do - and very badly. As if this site was about trading ORCL stock.
Looks like Oracle has hired a reputation management company from craigslist. Because they were cheap. Gotta save money for MH's next bonus.

You are clueless.
Sounds like all the negatives in this thread are trying to short ORCL. Remember that they need to plant the seeds of FUD here and hope they grow organically by employees reading this and spreading rumors and gossips internally. Don't fall for their BS. ORCL is strong and growing.
I'd say Oracle is not headed down the growth path. They just need to squeeze out as much profit for as long as possible. That will be the name of the game in the 4th quarter. Not much they can do because of amazon's domination in cloud. Not to mention the Oracle reputation in this day is also working against its rise in the cloud. Truth will emerge in a few more quarters. You can't hide this stuff for much longer. Those that are tied to licensing being forced to go to cloud. It will all be obvious in the earnings reports. You can't go and buy every company you see at least not indefinitely. They might try though once and if they bring the offshore holdings in.
Not LE he needs to hold on to it, MH, SC and TK - the smart money sold out
No way did they sell all their stock. The company stock would dive if LE sold all his stock. He has billions in Oracle stock. Provide a link as I am not seeing this.

Check SEC filings, they sold their stock
In the USA, senior officers of any publicly traded entity are required to disclose their stock ownership in the company of which they are officers. They are also required to disclose any purchase or sale of shares in said company.
These public disclosures are filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Now you know.
Really, they own no stock? How'd u know?
Just curious to know.
