Yes CSG is a money black hole huge investment that did not go anywhere and now pumping even more money but it's too late the market has spoken and this group will be gone soon. My last day was a few weeks ago and I dodge a bullet. My ex-colleagues leave while you still can what can be salvaged will move to India the rest will be no more.

Clearly there will be some, but laying off people is an expensive habit. They will need to work out whether there is a short term Benidorm that can be presented to shareholders from doing it vs keeping them on until August 2017. I think Cisco is done this year with cuts, but next August will see deeper cuts then this year. The business can't sustain its workforce with declining revenues and has to be seen by the market as trying to do something to increase EPS. It's a fine balance.

Either way, most people are doomed either by being LR'd during a period of low employment or by wasting more years of your career working for a company not growing that can't offer security or progression. My advice is get out there and start interviewing and see what you're worth on the market now. You might be surprised and you won't regret it, but you might if you don't.

Fy17 Q2 results will be announced to the market on Feb 15th so if that falls short of expectations (even the low expectations predicted by the ELT) then we can expect the knife to cut deeper than it already has. Since Cisco are not bringing in the money they want, they have to cut costs to make the numbers work for the shareholders. We all know what that means!

How do the big boys at the top sleep at night with their yearly layoffs, dumping many good employees to the curb. Do you keep your foreign workers employed while screwing over American workers given layoff notices? My opinion is cisco is a cut throats employer who s---s their employees dry and tosses them to the curb during their once and sometimes twice per year layoffs. How do you Exec's at the top sleep at night being the wicked and heartless slime you are?? Pigs.

CSG is a prime target poor product poor revenue the group has been on a decline for the past few years and has been laying people off periodically.

Cisco cloud is a prime target as the product is shutting down in March. They have already terminated 60+ red badges and the thought is blue badges will go through natural attrition.
