It's true about the tulsa, ok store. The DM passed through our TX store the day before, and said he was headed to close an Oklahoma store.

Has anyone heard of any in California?
I m in 1 of the few left. Months back i was traveling to stores throughout the state and saw how bad it was here. The DM here just puts out a lot of BS thinking we are all stupid. My stores shelves are empty. In the last 2 weeks we have had 2 trucks. I've heard from a friend at a store in Nor Cal that their store is even worse but are being told everything is ok. Has everyone gotten the new shirts yet. The message on them is what they want us to believe

The list I saw had 9 in FL. Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Crystal River, Naples, Port Charlotte, Ft. Pierce, Jacksonville, Kissimmee, and Palatka. All KMART stores.
4 stores are in South West Florida was announced to the stores yesterday but you will never see a " list " put out to the media. Eddie wants to keep this game of his running till August from what I heard.
8 in fla one of them is the only Kmart left in Jacksonville... announced yesterday.

Our store in Tulsa, Oklahoma is closing, and our lease was set to expire in Feb 2018. We will close in April 2017. Our store was not profitable at all. We knew it was coming, but not this fast. DM in our store this morning and told us the news. God bless to the other stores, just start saving your money and paying off bills. It's real people.
I saw the list and please don't act like leases are expiring, half or most don't expire until end of 2017 to 2019. The whole lease expiration comments are BS.
Are there any stores in NC closing? My local store closed back in July, and the closest one now is Goldsboro!

Many of the store closures are coming as leases expire. Many opened around the same time as Kmart was expanding in the 1970s and 1980s.
There are two more waves coming.
I saw the list but don't have a copy....jasper and Phoenix city in Alabama most were in Florida and Kentucky.
