Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Payroll in romania are providing wrong payslips. It is coming soon to all oracle emplyees

payroll located in romania have been delivering wrong payslips for months in emea, see http://cfdt-oracle.blogspot.fr/2016/12/allo-je-voudrais-le-service-paye.html.

Regulation is taking ages. Pleoples getting riffed are even now allowed to get access to their accounts.

Oracle is really going into cloud, especially their payroll teams !!!

It is a french web site but it s reporting wrong payslips delivered by romanians employees. Even RIFED employees are affected by this. And of course they can not access their payroll account anymore. Romanian Payroll employees are leaving every monh.

Thanks to s catz and its romanians junior and chip employees.

Many law suits are being engaged by emea oracle employees. isn't cloud great ? Coming to you US employees soon, good luck !!!

Payroll problems is just normal, this is a complex process. What is really upsetting it the lack of wire transfer execution control.

How can a company operate without checking the fund transfer error queues ?

Some Employees need to raise a ticket to get their monthly payroll !!!

people riffed don't have access to their payroll account. if you think it is not a problem, then you are not impacted by RIF. So please shut your f---ing mouth. There are thousand of people impacted by this so go f--- yourself and shut down ? OK ?

You all really think its not simply a payroll error but an ongoing strategy to deny employees their true payment? If that was the case why do some employees get more by the same error?

It's random. But whether you get more or less money is immaterial. In the end, you're still losing out on something -- either your pay is miscalculated and you end up getting a lower paycheck, and wait a long time for it to get sorted out, or you get paid more, but you'll get less when it gets sorted out, or your retirement contribution is miscalculated, or your tax contribution, or your social security.

I've been lucky to not be hit by this, but heard of others. This will get ugly for the people involved. If anything, you can't wing it with authorities, especially in countries like France (just ask Uber).

As much as it hurts, it's business. I am likely losing my job in January. I'm not happy about it but I am not taking it personally. The best we can do is try and prepare ourselves and move on.
