Intel (BK) Not in CES 2017 Keynote Lineup

Interesting to note that Intel's BK is not in the very important CES Keynote lineup for CES 2017.

In the past years, BK has been either the 1st or 2nd keynote speaker during the very important pre-CES keynote lineup (held the day prior to the opening of the CES exhibit floor).

This year, Nvidia has the only pre-CES keynote.

Intel/BK seem to only have one event, a press briefing during the day prior to the crucial evening keynote.

The press briefings, with audiences in the hundreds, are far small and far less visible than the keynote, which often have audiences in the thousands.

PEs are sacred cows. My org sacrifices people from the lowest tier to save the heads of a score of PEs. Every senior PE who qualified for an ERP (and most of them fall in that age group) probably collected $400K to $500K in total cash and benefits and left the company. That should be a no brainier to anyone.

Haha. No new, innovative products is not going to cut it.

NVIDIA keynote is payback for two CES keynotes in a row that were essentially identical.

Intel is a thing of the past. Nobody cares about them anymore.

They give you a chance and when you do underwhelm your get sidelined. Intel products are as glamorous as you washer and dryer. You need them but boring products these days from intel

Lastly BK is no visionary or technologist so who cares about what he says or thinks.

Selling technology is the old way of thinking. I'm sure BK will be doing something far more important, like opening a new all-gender restroom
