The main problem here is the old guy at the top.
The other huge problems are the youngers guys just below the old guy that want to be like the old guy so much, they tell him whatever he wants to hear. To the detriment of the business. There is so much arrogance blinding the fools at the top. Time to DRAIN THE VERIZON SWAMP. Invest in our core without throwing money away.

So impact to Verizon? Verizon has no issue with paying top dollar for the best talent. Take Lowell for instance. Oh well, wait, maybe that's not a good example.
Also, based on what I see coming from India, there's not much talent there either .... except they are happy to work for bananas and curry .
