Corporate citizens of the year! Layoffs every year. Rampant nepotism among a certain ethnic group. Purging engineers who are 50+ (who will find it very difficult to find jobs elsewhere). Cisco has become the slimiest company ever.
You have to admit that Cisco is better than many companies when it comes to volunteering and corporate citizenship. I've never worked at a company before or since that matched my contributions to charity or donated money to a charity to match the hours I volunteered for that charity.
I used to think it was because Cisco was a great company. Now I think it's to offset the bad karma for all the bad things it's doing to it's employees.
