My store isn't closing but many people are being laid off and i wonder if hourly non-executive associates will be just as at risk for losing there jobs? Why the secrecy? there's no point in quitting when you could just wait for them to lay you off. Or are they just laying people off on the fly, telling mangers which positions need to be let go? Lol it's a mess.

You need to be looking for work, it's always easier to find a job while you're currently working.
